Fundraise For Us

Fundraising creates opportunities to experience, share and benefit from arts and drama for those in our local community who would not otherwise be able to access them. It also helps to keep The Theatre an independent and vibrant arts centre at the heart of our community.

There's lots of different ways you can get involved and raise money to support The Theatre and our community work. Every penny counts and you will have our full support with your fundraising.

We love to partner with Schools, local organisations and businesses or anyone looking to take on a personal challenge. Find some ideas below

Oxford Half Marathon 2026
Register Now!

We have charity places for the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 11 October 2026

The fast and flat Oxford Half offers the perfect route for both first-time runners and PB chasers. The course takes runners through the pristine, winding streets of historic Oxford. The route begins on Mansfield Rd and passes through the stunning sites of Old Marston village, the River Cherwell, Oxford University’s impressive Lady Margaret Hall, before finally finishing back where it started, in the heart of Oxford University.

General entries for this event are now sold out so running for The Theatre is a great way to test your running ability whilst supporting the arts in your local community.

Your Commitment:

  • To raise at least £250 in sponsorship (excluding gift aid)
  • To pay a deposit of £50 towards the cost of your entry fee and to confirm your place*

In return you'll receive a personalised Theatre running vest, support with your fundraising and our enormous thanks and gratitude. You'll be creating opportunities experience, share and benefit from arts and drama for those in our community who would not otherwise be able to access them.

*Please note that if you do not meet your fundraising target, or you withdraw from the race then your deposit will be forfeited. Your deposit does not cover the full cost of your entry fee for this event but it helps reduce the risk to The Theatre of people not fundraising or withdrawing at short notice.
