Welcome to the Take Part online brochure for the Spring Term 2023. We're delighted to share our busy and varied programme with you. Whether you're an aspiring creative writer looking to put pen to paper, or the West End's next star, we've got something for everyone!
The Theatre is for everyone, and we never want finances to prevent people from getting involved and joining us. We are very grateful to have the support of the Tony & Judith Yarrow Bursary, which enables us to offer free bursary places to children and adults who face financial barriers to joining us. Bursary places are available for all our Take Part course

After a very enjoyable autumn term, we are looking forward to continuing our Youth Theatre, Youth Musical Theatre and Saturday Drama groups with preparations in place for our upcoming annual showcase. We are also delighted that our groups for adults, such as Dance 50, Adult Drama and Creative Writers are more popular than ever and all continue to meet at The Theatre. As we look forward to welcoming groups back for the Spring Term, our aim is to continue learning from the 'new normal' since lockdown, and adapting sessions where necessary to offer the best possible experience for participants.
We are thrilled that our longstanding choir, the Chipping Norton Singers, our Adult Drama group, Creative Writers, Dance 50 and Great Company, our drama group for adults who identify as neurodivergent or as having a learning disability, have been hugely popular and returned bigger and better than ever. Finally, we are delighted with the success of The Can Sing Choir, our newest group for enthusiastic - if slightly inexperienced - singers where the sessions are delivered in shorter 5-week bite sized courses!
We no longer insist on social distancing within The Theatre or during workshops. However, please respect your fellow participants, and check that they are comfortable before getting too close.
