Become a Patron

The Theatre exists because of the generous support of individual people who rescued a deserted Salvation Army Citadel and made it what it is today; a thriving regional theatre  providing the local community with drama, music, cinema, comedy, art and a huge range of participatory activities

The Theatre is a registered charity, earning around 75% of the income it needs every year from trading, a tremendous achievement for a venue with little more than 200 seats, but we rely on the generous support of individuals, as well as trusts, foundations and our corporate partners to bridge the shortfall.

We have four levels of Patron Membership offering the following benefits:

  • Ultra priority booking for Panto (2 weeks before general booking, one week before Friends booking)
  • Advanced booking
  • £1 off most live performances and films (exclusions apply)
  • Half price and 2-for-1 ticket offers on selected theatre and film events every season
  • 10% off drinks at film and live screenings
  • Regular newsletters taking you behind the scenes
  • Special backstage tours of our in-house productions
  • Opportunity to meet the cast and creative teams who bring our in house shows to life
  • Acknowledgement in our theatre brochures, on our website and in the auditorium
  • An invitation to a yearly exclusive patron event
  • Supporting The Theatre!
