Bursaries towards activities:

We offer bursaries towards covering part or all of the cost of participating in our Take Part activities for those who might not otherwise be able to afford it. This includes activities for young people and adults.

We know how beneficial our sessions can be for people and we wouldn’t like to think that someone who very much wants to participate is prevented from doing so because of financial constraints. We therefore encourage anyone who would like to discuss help with payments to contact the Take Part Staff for an informal conversation.

We generally give out between 30 and 50 bursaries each year. We also offer places and bursaries via a Social Prescribing scheme with the Chipping Norton Health Centre.

Community Ticket Scheme:

The Theatre runs a community ticket scheme providing theatre experiences to people living with hardship. This might include the homeless, families using food banks or with financial hardship, those living with addiction and other comparable situations.

These tickets range from film tickets to pantomime visits, and are offered free to individuals and families by local partner organisations. These organisations include churches, food banks, social housing providers etc. Unfortunately we cannot offer free tickets under this scheme directly to individuals approaching The Theatre.

Please get in touch if you would like to find out more about this scheme, or are interested in becoming a partner organisation.
