To celebrate our extraordinary Take Part programme, we are hosting a FREE day of theatre masterclasses! Participants will divide into groups and rotate through 3 different workshops, including Stage Combat workshop led by West-End professionals, and a Special Effects Make Up masterclass from TV & Film Make Up Artist Kate Griffiths.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, curated especially for our Youth Programme participants, that you won't find anywhere else.
On the day, participants will also be provided with free refreshments as part of the experience.

Who is eligible?
Any youth participant aged between 7 - 17 who is booked onto our Autumn Term.
This includes Youth Theatre, Youth Musical Theatre participant, or members of the 7 - 9s Saturday Drama group.

What are the masterclasses?
Stage Combat Workshop
Join a West End Fight Director and professional Stunt & Fight Performer as they reveal the secret techniques behind safely performing unarmed combat for stage and screen. This fun, physical workshop welcomes performers of all sizes and experience levels and will give you a taster of how to make your punches, kicks, slaps, hair pulling, neck-breaking and eye gouging look spectacular.
Special Effects Make Up Workshop
Join Kate Griffiths, professional Film & TV MUA, for a unique workshop in special effects make up. With hands on opportunities to transform your friends with various special effects, you will learn how professionals achieve such incredible results. All make up is safe, skin-friendly and washable!
Creative Choices Workshop
Join our professional in-house technicians to explore how on stage scenes are brought to life through the power of lighting and sound. You will learn how storytelling is enhanced through technical effects, and work together to design the visuals of a scene onstage!
