Mental Health
Schools & PartnersMental Health

Our Mental Health programme launched in 2021, in response to calls for help for the young people of Chippy and beyond in the wake of the devastating impact of the pandemic on youth mental health.
Every year we work with multiple groups at four local schools, to provide weekly mental health sessions for those on the Children & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) waiting list and those referred by teachers and staff due to low mood, anxiety or other mental health needs.
Weekly sessions run by a specialist practitioner and supported by our Mental Health and Community Projects Manager see the group explore drama games and exercises to build confidence, self-esteem, coping skills, friendships, peer support, and much much more.

With huge thanks to CHK Charities and the Pye Charitable Settlement, who make this work possible.
