The Theatre Chipping Norton have announced the first three actors joining the 8 person cast for their spectacular Christmas pantomime, The Snow Queen. Bringing together exciting emerging talent and performers with impressive Panto pedigree, you won’t want to miss this magical twist on a much-loved story.
Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's classic tale, The Snow Queen Pantomime follows brave Gerda and her sweetie-loving mum, Dame Candy Cane, as they set off on an epic adventure to rescue Kai and save Christmas after the Snow Queen steals him away and cancels the holiday season.
Lowri Sara Jones will play the wickedly wonderful Snow Queen. A recent graduate of Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Lowri’s previous roles include Rapunzel at the Theatre Royal Bury St. Edmunds and now she takes on the icy ruler determined to freeze Christmas forever.
Joining her will be Calum Isaacs as Kai, Gerda's festive bestie. A graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, with recent theatre credits including A Christmas Carol (Malvern Theatres) and Noises Off (Frinton Summer Theatre), Calum brings a wonderful mix of warmth, humour and heart to this magical adventure.
The Theatre is also excited to welcome celebrated panto performer Daniel Page as the unforgettable Dame Candy Cane. With credits spanning the West End and toasted as “Exeter’s Favourite and Most Popular Dame”, Daniel is guaranteed to have audiences laughing, cheering and joining in from the very first "OH NO HE ISN’T!"
This panto season, The Theatre invites you on a daring rescue mission to explore wintry ice palaces, experience ingenious sweetie inventions, and enjoy all the festive fun that makes a trip to The Theatre Chipping Norton a wonderful winter tradition for so many local families, schools, and audiences of all ages.
The show runs from 18 November 2026 to 17 January 2027 and ticket prices start from just £18. Book online or call the box office on 01608 642350.
