Job Description

The position is responsible to the Director, and will work closely with the Fundraiser and the General Manager to advance and complement the fundraising and sponsorship programmes of The Theatre. The role is part time for 2.5 days/17.5 hours a week which requires a minimum of 1 day on site every 3 weeks (this is just a minimum and more is welcomed if the post holder wishes).

The primary responsibilities of the Fundraising Manager - Trusts, Foundations and Major Donors, can be summarised as follows:

1. To take ownership of the strategic and operational planning of the Fundraising department, by maintaining, growing and improving the current functions.

2. To develop and implement new and creative ideas for fundraising growth.

Contract: Permanent after 6 months probation. Freelance contracts will be considered within the pay rate advertised.
