Job Description

The Theatre Chipping Norton are looking for someone to support our costume department for our pantomime production of Beauty and the Beast.

The role would be present at The Theatre approximately one day per week to provide laundry services for the show’s costumes, including washing, drying and ironing, and would take on any costume repairs that have arisen during the week.

Oversight and guidance will be available from our Wardrobe Supervisor, Costume Designer, Stage Management team and Producer.

Dates: 1 day per week from mid November 2025 to mid-January 2026.

The days are pre-determined by our performance schedule, and will fall on non-performance days. These are:

Mon 24th Nov Mon 1st Dec Mon 8th Dec Mon 15th Dec

Thu 18th Dec Thu 25th Dec (Christmas Day) OR Thu 1st Jan (New Year’s Day)

Mon 5th Jan 2026 Mon 12th Jan Mon 19th Jan

There is an option to be flexible with hours around Christmas or New Year’s Day, instead working two half days either side of those dates.

Fee: £125 per day
