The Comedy of Errors Workshop

Join us for a drama/dance workshop intensive based on Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors.

Young performers aged 8-16 years will work with local director and theatre practitioner Emily Scates and a professional choreographer to bring this comical tale of mishap, mayhem and mistaken identity to life. Following the success of The Tempest (2022), Midsummer (2023) Romeo and Juliet (2024) Hamlet (2025) this troupe promises to put the fun into Shakespeare in a fast and furious way that gets all the young performers brimming with confidence and pride in the work they create.

The week will culminate in a spectacular showcase on the stage at Chipping Norton Theatre where professional light and sound designers will enhance all aspects of the performance.

Monday 13th - Thursday 16th July, 10am-3pm

Friday 17th July - 10am-6pm (performance at 5pm - free to attend, no ticket required)
