What is Saturday Drama?

Saturday Drama is our spin off group that grew from Youth Theatre. Chippy Youth Theatre has been running for over 30 years, placing imagination and creativity at the heart of our sessions.

Saturday Drama is a gentle entry point in to theatre for younger members, providing an opportunity to start learning about storytelling, character and voice, whilst having lots of fun.

If your child has an incredible imagination, why not give them the opportunity to explore ways of using it in our exciting weekly classes?

Led by experienced practitioners and based in our professional theatre, Saturday Drama members will build confidence and develop a variety of skills within a supportive, creative environment. Participants will use their energy and playful imaginations to start growing their acting skills, while learning the art of collaboration and power of creativity.

We also invite our 7-9s Group to take part in our annual Spring Showcase on our professional stage!
