About Oxford Half Marathon 2026
Join The Theatre's charity team for the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 11 October 2026
The fast and flat Oxford Half offers the perfect route for both first-time runners and PB chasers with a course that takes runners through the pristine, winding streets of historic Oxford.
General entries for this event are now sold out so running for The Theatre is a great way to challenge yourself whilst creating opportunities experience, share and benefit from arts and drama for those in our community who would not otherwise be able to access them.
Your Commitment:
- To raise at least £250 in sponsorship (excluding gift aid)
- To pay a deposit of £50 to confirm your place.
In return you'll receive
- a personalised Theatre running vest
- a place on our charity team for Oxfordshire's most popular half marathon
- our support with your fundraising - getting set up and tips and advice along the way
- and our enormous thanks and gratitude.
Why do we ask for a deposit?
Your deposit of £50 does not cover the full cost of your charity entry fee for this event but it helps reduce the risk to The Theatre of people not fundraising or withdrawing from the event.
If you do not meet the minimum fundraising target your deposit will be forfeited. All sponsorship monies must be collected by 31 October 2026.
If you withdraw from the race then your deposit will be forfeited unless you agree with us (The Theatre) a suitable replacement participant who is willing to take your place, meet the fundraising commitment and pay a deposit.
