CNCS: Magnificat!

Chipping Norton Choral Society

A joyous programme featuring settings of the Magnificat text, accompanied by the Winchendon Brass.

The first half of the programme begins with a glorious fanfare, and then takes us on a journey through the ages looking at different settings of the Magnificat text.

The second half features Rutter’s incredible setting in a version, arranged by Benedict Goodall for choir, brass quintet and piano, originally licensed by John Rutter for two performances; one by the OUP Choir in 2024 and one by CNCS by July 2027.
