Lucy Findlay
Lucy is a freelance Director, Theatre Maker and Storyteller. Since graduating from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts with a BA Hons in Applied Theatre and Community Drama in 2022, Lucy has spent the last two years developing a vast and inclusive portfolio of community and youth work across Oxfordshire and the South East. From facilitating outreach projects in schools such as the Oxford Playhouse's Primary Playmaker Scheme, to touring shows in community venues in the Playhouse Plays Out Tent Tour, and even working as a children's storyteller in major Oxford heritage site, The Story Museum.
Lucy has experience creating work ranging from all different types of structures and styles, but she finds her greatest passion in creating and telling stories through devised work and verbatim texts, having devised pieces with communities and young people around topics such as young women's empowerment in the past.
Lucy has worked with companies such as the Oxford Playhouse, Brackley Youth Theatre, The UK Pantomime Awards and could not be more excited to be joining The Theatre's Take Part Team.
