Like many small towns, Chipping Norton has its challenges and inequalities. Working with a huge range of partner organisations, we are delivering measurable social impact, helping to feed the hearts, minds and stomachs of our neighbours. With creativity and culture at the heart of our work, we aim to reach every corner of our community and ensure that every single person feels included.”

The Theatre’s Take Part Director, Vanessa Managhan, who leads on The Theatre’s work in the community received the award along with Clare O’Hara, The Theatre’s Mental Health & Community Project Manager.

Vanessa Managhan said:

“Being shortlisted alongside two industry icons was a tremendous honour and a proud moment for us all. It recognises every single person in our organisation who, as a team, have contributed to our success. To then win this category is a monumental milestone for us! Accessible theatre and community-driven creative activities are at the very heart of our mission. Receiving this award will further fuel our efforts, helping us deepen our impact and reach even more people within our amazing community.”
