Cognitive Dissent Exhibition
Cognitive Dissent Exhibition
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you” – Maya Angelou, Why the Caged Bird Sings
We are excited to present The Theatre’s first co-created community exhibition Cognitive Dissent this June and July in the Gallery
This exciting new exhibition has been co-created by our local community with professional artists. A series of artworks tell stories of what it is like to live in our area and have a different kind of mind.
Alongside portraits and windows into a world, our curation and interpretation shares participants’ stories. We hope the exhibition will take the viewer on a journey of understanding, and may act as a call to arms for support and services.
The exhibition is open from the Thursday 4 June until Friday 17 July, with opening hours being an hour before any show. If you would like to arrange a viewing out of these times please contact cohara@chippingnortontheatre.com
