Playing at The Rollright Stones

Come and enjoy music performed by the Stratford Festival ORchestra and Choir, conducted by Simon Kemp, playing music inspired by the moon, the stars and the nighttime sky. This special cocnert in a truly ancient venue is held to commemortate the 50th anniversary of the moon landings.

Enjoy the performance sitting in the King's men stone circle, bring with you picnics and rugs and be prepared for whatever the weather offers.

After the performance, the Chipping Norton Amateur Astronomy Group will help you view the moon and the night sky with their telescopes (weather permitting). Please bring your own binoculars or telescope if you have them.

Saturday 20th July, 8pm 

Tickets: £15, or family ticket (2 adults and 2 under 16s) £40

All prices include any booking fees.


Site opens at 6.30pm, with the performance beginning at 8pm. Please be seated ready for the performance to start by 7.45pm.

Onsite parking close by, and a licensed bar for refreshments will be available.
