About the Artist

Studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art and later went on to work in the Film industry as a matte painter and concept artist.
lizzie now works at home in her studio and finds the everyday objects of family life inspire her paintings.  A plate of biscuits, a piece of cake, a flower in the garden or a mouse that the cat has brought in. These objects are transformed into something magical as she paints with Oil, vigorously building up a painting with related patches of colour to make a rich and resonant image jam packed with colour and meaning.

Lizzie has had work in The Campden Gallery and The Dolphin Gallery, Oxford.
Lizzie holds classes and workshops for oil painting. For more information on workshops and classes please email: [email protected]
