ED STOURTON
Brought face-to-face with the author of his obituary and his own inevitable mortality, Edward Stourton was prompted to reflect on the life he has led and the events that have shaped him.
One of the best-known names in British broadcasting reflects on his life and shifting attitudes in a world that has changed dramatically during his 40-year broadcasting career. After a privileged upbringing followed by a reporting career that encompassed party conferences and war zones from Haiti to Hong Kong, before returning to joining the infighting on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme, in his book Confessions Ed describes his remarkable journey along a dramatically altered media landscape with candour and insight. We are delighted to welcome one of the most recognisable voices in broadcasting.
Ed will be interviewed by Gerry Foley.
