ASHLEY HUTCHINGS:100 NOT OUT

Ashley Hutchings, the Guv'nor of folk-rock, has a new show. It's titled "100 not out" and is centred on his "More songs from the shows" cd which is getting a lot of publicity as his 100th album release.

Ashley is joined in this performance by one of the country's finest singers, Becky Mills. Together they will perform some of Ashley's favourite songs which he has recorded in a special words and music performance.

Throughout his 60 year musical career Ashley has worked with more great female singers than anyone else - Sandy Denny, Maddy Prior, Shirley Collins, June Tabor, Cathy Lesurf, Polly Bolton, Chris and Kellie While, and many others.

Ashley, whom Bob Dylan calls "The single most important figure in English folk rock", has often employed the spoken word alongside music and this show is an example of this alliance at its peak.
