In the wake of bereavement, Charlie Corbett found himself losing hope and perspective. Seeking solace in the countryside, he heard the cascading song of the skylark; it pulled him from despair into the calm of the natural world. A remarkable portrait of the birds living right on our doorsteps, 12 Birds to Save Your Life invites us to connect with nature: to stop, step outside, and listen.
