Having been a long-standing Youth Theatre Participant as a child, Abby has now returned to The theatre in the role of Take Part Officer.

She attended the University of Birmingham studying Mathematics and Music as a Joint Honours degree. Alongside her degree, she worked FoH with organisations such as Birmingham Hippodrome and the CBSO as well as sitting on the University’s Music Society Committee as Chorus Manager.

During her degree, Abby specialised in music education and the social and cognitive benefits of it. She completed a summer internship working with Birmingham Royal Ballet to curate a music outreach programme for the Royal Ballet Sinfonia. She is now excited to be working in the Take Part team to help oversee our term time and summer projects as well as getting stuck into our community outreach programmes.
