The North Cotswold Chamber Choir: Victoria Requiem

A unique take on Tomás Luis de Victoria’s crowning glory, his 1605 Requiem, with organ accompaniment.

The programme also includes expressive settings by other Spanish Renaissance composers, including Juan Gutierrez de Padilla who mostly worked in Mexico. 400 years later, Arvo Pärt’s Virgencita was composed as a gift to the people of Mexico.
