About 20 Years of Hot Fingers
20 years ago, two veterans of the jazz scene ( Thomas 'Spats Langham and Malcolm Sked ) got together with a very talented local musician ( Danny Blyth ) to play some gypsy jazz and blues.
3 weeks later they played a short gig at a local pub and Hot Fingers was born.
3 years down the line the band played at a private party and had Emily Campbell as a guest singer at the host's insistence. Emily has been with the band ever since. As more instruments were added to the band the repertoire expanded to cover hot 1920's jazz, swing, ragtime, novelties etc etc.
For this concert the band will be picking from some of the very first tunes, brand new material and some established favourites.
An evening of exceptional talent and fun is guaranteed.
