About As I Was A Walking

THE SIGHTS, SOUNDS AND STORIES OF RURAL OXFORDSHIRE

Revel in the past, present and future of the Oxfordshire countryside, as we restage last year’s sold out performance walks in the stunning venue of FarmED.

Experience readings and performances including works by Michael Morpurgo, Flora Thompson and poet archaeologist Romola Parish - even try out traditional rural activities. Enjoy traditional Morris tunes from Joshua Newman and Louis Thurman of The Oakstone Trio and harmonious nature inspired songs from Jenny Mahler, all in an artful and unique early summer’s walk in the countryside.

A unique and perfect way to spend an early summer’s day in the countryside and discover places and voices you never knew before.

Dress for all weathers and bring footwear you can explore in!

Delicious, sustainable refreshments will be available from the FarmED Cafe before or after your walk (cafe closes at 5.30pm).

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to cancel the Sunday performances at Foxburrow Wood.
