We are delighted and excited that our new seating and auditorium flooring is being installed in July.
To celebrate we're holding a special screening of Ken Russel’s 1920’s-set musical extravaganza, The Boy Friend, the first ever film screened at Chippy Theatre back in 1975!
When the leading lady of a traveling theatrical troupe injures herself, the group's shy and demure stage manager, Polly (Twiggy), is suddenly thrust into the spotlight to take her place.
For those who sponsored seats*, tickets are £1, the amount residents of Chipping Norton were asked to donate towards the conversion from Salvation Army Citadel to Theatre in 1973. All other tickets will be £5.
*Please note: We cannot guarantee that the seat you sponsored will be available
