Professor Adrian Furnham MSc DPhil DSc DLitt is cleverer than you are. He is Professor of Psychology at University College London and has written over 700 scientific papers and 57 books on the psychology of work, money, leadership and indeed sex. He has lectured widely abroad and held scholarships and visiting professorships at, amongst others, the University of New South Wales, the University of the West Indies, the University of Hong Kong and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
We’ve asked him to deliver something akin to a TED Talk - a TIDDLY Talk - if you will on the psychology of humour – why does it exist, what does it achieve and what makes something funny? He’ll be discussing his findings with us. And a comedian or two.
